Airport Operations Systems
Consolidation at DXB

With the rapid growth in passenger volumes at Dubai International Airport, DA’s priority focus is to continuously improve the passenger experience and ensure a robust and reliable operation. A number of initiatives are underway involving collaboration across all stakeholders including Air Trac Control, the hub carrier Emirates, the Ground handler Dnata, Immigration and the Police.
Data sharing between these entities enables Dubai Airports to produce real time intelligence allowing all stakeholders to keep their fingers on the pulse of the operation. The newly commissioned Airport Operating System (AOS) enables Dubai Airports and its stakeholders to make quick decisions on resource assignment and tactical planning adjustments to deliver the customer experience and level of service DA aspires to deliver to its passengers.

The consolidation and upgrade of DA’s legacy airport operating systems is an important step change to our future operational environment. It will be key to the success of our proactive collaborative decision making with stakeholders and our new airport operational command centre. Olio’s team of highly specialized SMEs have been instrumental in this journey.
